At Tenfold Coffee, we believe that exceptional coffee is more than just a product—it’s a relationship. Every cup we serve is a testament to the long-term partnerships we’ve built with remarkable coffee farmers across the globe. Our sourcing philosophy is rooted in sustainability, quality, and connection, ensuring that the coffee you enjoy is not only delicious but also ethically and responsibly sourced.

How We Source Our Coffee
We take pride in roasting and serving high-quality coffee, but our passion goes beyond just taste. It’s about the people behind every bean. Our commitment to sustainable sourcing means forming long-term relationships with select coffee farms, prioritizing ethical trade, and investing in communities.
By working directly with producers, we foster transparency and ensure that farmers receive fair compensation for their labor. This approach empowers farming communities while allowing us to bring you a consistently exceptional coffee experience.
Every Partnership is Unique
No two coffee farms are the same, and neither are our relationships with them. We've intentionally chosen to work with farms in seven distinct countries, each offering unique flavor profiles and characteristics. By focusing on fewer origins, we’re able to deepen our partnerships, create lasting social impact, and support sustainable farming practices.
When people ask us about our favorite coffee or producing country, we liken it to choosing a favorite child—impossible! Each region has its own story, climate, and culture, making every origin special in its own way. Instead of picking favorites, we encourage curiosity and appreciation for the diverse world of specialty coffee.

Our Seven Key Origins
At Tenfold Coffee, we currently source from seven key coffee-producing countries:
-
Burundi – Known for its vibrant and floral coffees, Burundi offers fresh harvests when Ethiopian and Kenyan supplies decline. Fun fact: Tenfold started with only Burundian coffees.
-
Tanzania – We are inspired by the growing coffee scene in the south, where smallholders are making a meaningful impact.
-
Ethiopia – The birthplace of coffee, known for its wild-grown, uniquely flavorful beans.
-
El Salvador – A country rich in coffee heritage, producing balanced coffees ideal for espresso blends.
-
Mexico – Home to innovative farmers experimenting with fermentation, elevating the country’s specialty coffee scene.
-
Colombia – With year-round harvests and a spirit of experimentation, Colombia is an exciting place for coffee innovation.
-
Brazil – A powerhouse of coffee research and development, continuously pushing the boundaries of specialty coffee.
Sustainability at the Core
Sustainability is not just a buzzword for us—it’s a responsibility. By building direct relationships, we ensure that our coffee is sourced in ways that benefit both people and the planet. Our sourcing practices support:
-
Fair wages and ethical labor conditions for farmers and workers.
-
Environmental stewardship, including responsible land use and reduced carbon footprints.
-
Community development, investing in farming education, infrastructure, and better living conditions.
