About This Coffee:
This is a really easy coffee to drink! It’s got a clean cup profile, bringing warm notes of cinnamon/allspice, with well-rounded sweetness and just enough acidity to grab your attention at the first sip. Very well suited to the addition of milk, we highly recommend Matongo as an espresso, especially in a flat white

JNP Coffee
“We are here to make a difference and experience joy in the process.”
Jeanine Niyonzima-Aroian, founder of JNP Coffee
JNP Coffee was founded by Jeanine Niyonzima-Aroian in 2012, to realize the potential of the exceptional unknown coffees of Burundi, her home country. Based in the Burundian capitol of Bujumbura, JNP partners with producers all across the small East African country, with a prime focus on gender equality, financial literacy, and leadership development (and obviously producing excellent coffees!).
Their belief that quality coffee can create a hopeful future is one that resonates with us at Tenfold on so many levels, and we are indeed thankful to work with a company like JNP! -
Our Relationship
We have been fortunate enough to serve coffees from JNP since the Summer of 2023, shortly after our co-founder Jacob met JNP’s founder Jeanine at a cupping hosted in Houston that year.
Instantly struck by Jeanine’s conviction, and passion for Burundian coffee, as well as the high quality of their offerings, we had no choice but to partner with JNP! Since then, working with their team has been an absolute pleasure. Their collaborative spirit, openness, and willingness to invest in the communities of their producer partners are superlative, and this relationship shows only signs of growing in the future.
