Basha Bakele Kokose

This coffee comes from Kokose station in Bensa, Sidama, run by Basha Bekele. The region has built a reputation for high-elevation coffees with clarity and structure, and this lot sits firmly in that space.

Cherry is harvested from surrounding smallholder farms and dried naturally over three to five weeks. The process is simple in approach but requires close attention, with regular turning to ensure even drying and stability.

In the cup, it leans bright and energetic. Pomegranate leads, with a sharper citrus line running through it. There’s a lime-like acidity that keeps things tight, and a sparkling quality that carries through the finish.

It’s a clean natural. Open, structured, and built on clarity rather than weight.
